Is the regulator / rectifier in a Big Twin Evo 91 of the electricity in the Sportster 91?

The only difference is the length cable and connect the stator? I want to cut and splice in a regulator / rectifier for use in FXR Sportster.

You already my answer but the idea that the engine size has something to do with the voltage reg / REC rediculas. It works perfectly
