how can I start my mercruiser 5.7L V8 without out drive attached?
I own a 5.7L I/O motor inboard outboard engine without the out drive attched and I need to know where I hook up the jose,?
You'll notice a inlet hole at the thermostat housing. That's the best place to connect. You should be able to follow it back to where the stern drive connects. You might have a little trouble getting the water hose to connect to the housing, but a couple adapters should make it easier. Good luck!
