How do you replace an impeller on a 2006 Sea Doo GTI SE ? What tools do I need, ect. . .? Help!?
Ok, I got a 2006 Sea Doo GTI SE, and went over some garbage, heard crunching and lost all performance. Went to the dealer, they said I have to replace the impeller and the wear ring. They wanted to charge me over 400 dollars! Well I cant afford it, so I bought the parts for around 300, but I don't know how to replace them. Before I go out and buy the manual, can anyone tell me how to replace it?
It will cost you more than $100 for the tools need to replace the impeller, which is the correct term, and if you mess up, the stator will set you back about $800. Let the dealer do it, if they mess up. they fix it.
Do you have insurance on the craft? Most policies will cover the damage.
